Please do not eat at this place. I went here for the first time on Thursday 10-2016. It took a very long time. I was waited on by young girls who did not have good customers service skills. They gave little portions for $15 and the food was horrible. The cabbage was soggy, the yams came from the can, macaroni & cheese had no taste, and the muffins tasted old. I do not usually write on rate and reviews; however, I had to say something. This place is HORRIBLE! I do not know why they remain open.
I am in the process of planning a sweet 16 party and I was referred to this place by the planner. I had high hopes. I ordered 4 different plates for me and family. I ordered the baked chicken, fried chicken, salisbury steak, and meatloak. I also ordered mac n cheese, okra, garlic mashed potatoes, rice, collard greens, potatoe salad, and fried green tomatotes. The baked chicken was dry, the fried green tomatoes was great, the rice was like the boil in the bag kind with no butter, the collard greens were salty and tasted a little like glory canned greens, but the mac n cheese tasted alright. I sampled the meatloaf and potatoe salad. I didn’t care for the meatloaf, but the potatoe salad was decent. I asked my family how everything tasted and they said it was a miss! So I will not use them as a caterer and the likihood that I will return is slim.
Given Multiple Chances. I was not satisfied with the Smothered Salisbury Steak (hamburger meat) Green Beans and Yams. I’m not a fan of Soul Food from a can. The price was too expensive for the quality of food that I received $11.65 this included the bitter Lemonade. I have been to this establishment multiple times and was disappointed each time.

Real soul food taste in every dish. We loved the fried chicken and collard greens. Service was good. We’ll be back
Today was my first time visiting. Staff was great and service was extremely slow. Food is well seasoned but I have had better. It’s task a longtime to get your food. But you should judge for yourself.
This place is AWESOME. Food is spectacular and I am a ultra finicky eater. Customer service was on target. I have told all of my friends about the place and we are going there for a girls day out! Check it out for yourself.
