I stop by this place every time I’m in town and I’ve NEVER been disappointed!! The food is good, it’s fresh and homemade. I’ve never seen it dirty, it’s ALWAYS CLEAN! It has a good vibe and have soulful music playing in the background. The service is friendly and professional, I LOVE IT!!!

Very good turkey wings, a great assortment of meats & sides & cornbread muffins with each dinner. Good location, very tight parking, usually crowded on weekends, you’ll have to park on the side street in the neighborhood & walk to the restaurant. Recently changed their setup for ordering because they have such long lines most of the time. The decor is simple, the background music while viewing info about the artist holds your attention as you wait for your order. The tables, and there are plenty, are always cleared & clean & the perimeter of the restaurant is usually clean. The staff are cordial, some more than others. They have a gentlemen who works hard at keeping the order line in order & he catches so much flack from the patrons, yet he holds his own & does a great job. The prices are reasonable. I tried the rib tips & I didn’t enjoy them as well as the turkey wings. Definitely an asset to the neighborhood. Down home cooking at its best.
