Very good food & service. Nice atmosphere with salsa dancing & Latin music. Very nice Cuban restaurant. Murals of streets in Cuba adorn the walls. A wooden dance floor for celebrations & salsa lessons. Flat screens adorn the walls, there’s a huge bar for your beer & mixed drinks. Coworker took me here for lunch. The food was delicious though the temperature of it was warm. Black rice or yellow w/black beans, roasted chicken (dark meat) w/ grilled onions and fried plantain. A salad of mixed greens, olives, onions, tomatoes, & strawberries with a raspberry vinaigrette. For dessert we had tres leche cake. Wonderful location in a plaza on LaVista road, friendly & efficient staff, wonderful atmosphere. A must when in the mood for Cuban cuisine.
Great food. Good service. My husband & I made our first visit to this restaurant on 9/24/14. OMG! The food was great. This is going to be our regular watering hole.
Appetizers and beer after work. I really enjoyed the appetizer sampler. The cassava was extremely good. The empanadas were also delicious. Service was good and the owner/ chef was extremely friendly. Can’t wait to eat there again.
Yum. I’m not one to write reviews, but I figured I had to. This place is gorgeous to eat in, has tasty and rightfully priced food, and the staff are really nice. Their bathrooms are even immaculate! I came in when it was pretty dead, but I hope they get a lot more customers to come in. They’ve got a good menu, and their menu has a pretty presentation as well. I had their empanadas, a coke, and a Cuban sandwich with the rice and black beans cooked together. There was so much food that I had to take it home.
Bit pricey but good food and good entertainment. Went here on a Friday night after going to six flags all day. The food was good but it was a little pricey. Enjoyed the atmosphere and my family enjoyed watching the salsa classes going on and people having a good time.May go here again if I’m in the area.list of what we ate:palomia steakmilanesa steakpicadillopan con bistekcroquetsmariquitas
I can NOT believe the couple of poor reviews I saw on here..trust me, they must have had a bad moment (being open only 3 mos) but this place ROCKS for foodies! Authentic Miami style Cuban food like nothing else I’ve had in ATL. 3 visits I’ve had fantastic service and the Vaca Frita melts in your mouth…crispy outside and juicy inside! The cut of meat they use is a cut above. The papa rellenos are huge smothered with chicken or beef , the empanadas taste like homemade pastries with addictive fillings. The flan is a mountain drizzled with caramel. This is THE place for great Cuban food at reasonable prices. (sandwiches 8.95 dinner entres about 12.95.) GO NOW!!
Bad service. Cold food… not warm , cold !!!!! Food not seasoned well and way too salty.
