Loved it. This place is nice if you wanna go shoot a little pool, have some drinks and eat! Nice atmosphere. Not crowded.. Service was good. Food was even better!! I’ll most definitely be back!!!
Renovation only means remodel something and gives a new look. If that bar has a professional and experienced manager and employees , the bar will quality service and that what the customer wants. Quality service and rapidity give customers’ satisfaction this in return gives big profit which is success .

From bad to worse?. *UPDATE*I just wanted to update this review to say that management did reach out to me and apologize for the experience my friends and I had. They made a genuine effort to make it right and I think that should be mentioned. I will give them another shot and hopefully next time I update this I can just turn it around into something good which is what I was hoping it would be the first time.*****************Thats right. Sure they did some cosmetics but the service is worse than I’ve ever had it and the menu is crazy small with no chicken wings which I thought was odd for an ATL sports bar. Not sure about the smoke eaters someone mentioned either..smelled as smoky to me as it always has. Had high hopes for this place after seeing the Bar Rescue folks come through but aside from making it look better I can’t see where they made any significant impact on how it is run. In fact, my experience going in to the new place was worse than any experience I ever had when it was Barlows so theres a pretty good chance I wont be back. I actually had a soft spot for them before despite all their obvious short comings because the staff was friendly and reasonably fast with orders. It took so long just to get drinks ordered initially that we were about to leave before our waitress finally showed up and it took her 10 more minutes to bring our drink order despite the fact that the place was dead. Then another 30 minutes for undercooked sliders?? Between that and the generally blatant lack of concern for us as customers by the waitress aside from her cheap ploy at the end to try and get a tip after being MIA the whole time thats all I need to see of them. If not for the owner stopping by our table we’d have had practically zero service. I feel bad for the owner because she seems like a really nice lady and after the fact I think I probably should have made a fuss about the crappy experience but I am not one to beg and plead for service. If you wont give it automatically then I have no problem politely walking right out the door and going to one of thousands of places within a short drive that will give it. It isnt my job to come in, pay for a meal and drinks, and have to tell your staff how to act. My opinion is they are to slack on their wait staff and need someone in there to really hold them to account before anything will change.
What a Comeback this bar has made!. If you ever went to the previous bar, Barlows, and come in to the newly remodeled bar that Bar Rescue installed you will be wowed! They completely opened the restaurant up, changed the lighting, gave them great food that I’ve been told by the staff is in the process of being expanded to fit customer wants and needs. Since they also installed smoke eaters, I have no problem having lunch there with my collegues and going back to work. I won’t smell like a cigarette coming back to the office. I look forward to coming back for happy hour. I tried the catfish slider and the shrimp po boy slider and they were both amazing. The staff was very friendly and the manager came around to ask if everyone was ok. I’m very satisfied.
