Awful cusomer service. The resturant food is amazing and i love eating the tacos but absolutely HATE the customer NO service i get. they act like we are bothing them by eating at their resturant. theyre slow and rude and i have to physically get up to get their attention. they make me annoyed. thanks
Groovy little place. I was visiting Valdosta and dropped in this place on a Sunday Afternoon. The dcor is stylish and the staff was kind of funky, very friendly and hard working. They have a well stocked bar with a good selection of craft brews and mid-high end whiskeys. I enjoyed some of both. For dinner I had an assortment of tacos…A brisket taco (the San Antonio), a fish taco and a calamari taco. The brisket was #1, the fish #1b and the calamari was a close second…all delish and hearty portions. They were served with black beans and rice which were well cooked…the beans done but firm with a rich broth and the rice perfectly steamed. The presentation was nicely simple and clean with the food making the statement. I will dine here again.
Service, Atmosphere, Food. I wouldn’t consider The Bleu Cafe fine dining, but it certainly possesses a cozy, comfortable, and tasteful (haha) atmosphere. The service is top-notch – prompt, personable, and attentive without being annoying. Menu items include pizzas, sandwiches, tacos, nachos, salads. The food is good, better than average by Valdosta standards. Creative taco offerings, delicious black beans, and good values all around.
Love it! One of my favorite places to eat! I have never disappointed with anything I’ve gotten there, but I must say the savannah and Memphis tacos are my utmost favorite!
This is THE place to go in Valdosta! Hands down it has it all. Fantastic atmosphere, great food, wonderful staff, and not to mention unique craft beers on tap! You can sit at a cozy table if you want intimacy, or at the lovely granite bar if you want to join in the fun! Oh, and the pizzas and natchos can’t be beat! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!
I went during lunch time, ate outside, and the food was great. We had a friendly server. I would go back.
A Pleasant Dinner. Visited my daughter in school at VSU and took her and her rommmates to Bleu Cafe on a recent Sunday evening. Not too crowded but I really like the decor – sorta chic/modern. The girls thought the waiter was cute, I thought he was a good waiter. We all opted for tacos – that description does not do them justice. They are gourmet tacos – many from which to choose. I had Club Bleu taco with chicken and the one with shrimp guys which was very good but it looks like that was the last night for that one – menu has changed. Side of black beans and rice is standard and excellent. Decent wine list – not really a list but a useful variety. A remarkable restaurant given the perception I have of Valdosta. A nifty place with very good food and good service – worthy of success in any market.
