Bubba Jax is an average seafood joint. In comparison to most crab shacks, the prices are what you’d mostly expect from seafood restaurants. It’s not fancy at all, so the vibe is casual and modest.I split the snow crab special with a friend. Monday’s and Tuesday’s they have a special which I think came to be about $30 or less for 2 lbs of crab, cheese grits, and coleslaw. It was a really good deal for the quantity of food.The seasoning could definitely be stronger, and I would suggest switching out they sides (if possible). I didn’t think the slaw and grits went well with the snow crabs. Otherwise, the service was great and the atmosphere was relaxing (I prefer M&M’s seasoning, though).Oh, I almost forgot! Their wine slushee is really good and my friend ordered oysters, which he didn’t care for (salty snapper serves a fresher selection).
