This has become a regular stop. I’ve been waiting to try the Fried Green Tomatoes but no go. Today was the Onion Rings starter, we devoured it before I could take a picture. The 18oz Ribeye with the balsamic reduction was cooked medium rare and was on point. It was a good steak. I added a little more salt but I like my steaks heavily seasoned. The gayla grits were awesome, so smooth and creamy. Dessert was the lemon semifredo was just what I was hoping for, a soft sorbet, it was almost a cross between ice cream and sherbet. The tart lemon mixed really nicely with the sweet strawberry. It hit the spot and I loved itFor

**Updated Post**Okay, so I had brunch here, and it was delicious! I pulled my rating up 0.5 because the drinks AND food are great. I can’t give it a 5 only because I have had better, but this is still one of the best date night, casual friday, brunch, or Sunday-fam-dinner joints in all of Valdosta.TRY THEIR SPICY BLOODY MARY. It was so good that I almost downed it in one go. Their brunch Eggs Benny is on fleek. I can’t get enough of this place :).**old post**This rating is purely based on the drinks! They have this amazing spicy cocktail that is delicious. I forgot what it was called but it had jalapeos in it. The bartenders were sweet, funny, and quick at bringing out the drinks. The mixes weren’t on the cheap side but I believe the experience is well worth it. The atmosphere is great for a night out to relax and have fun so give it a try.I can’t wait to taste the food! And you know I will be back for the drinks. 🙂

Our Favorite Place!. We’ve never been disappointed when we come here. The food is always fresh and delicious, the service is always on point and the chef (Randy) is so talented. From the time you walk in, you are poured a glass of water to tide you over until you order a drink. The bar here is stellar, with infused vodkas made in-house, local brews and signature cocktails. When it’s time to eat, I recommend either a steak or the seafood, they really stand out. The menu is always changing, with specials ranging from quail to duck, to pork chops and fresh fish. The dessert is sinful! Bread pudding, marscapone and cheesecake are just a few of the options you can choose from. Overall, one of the few gems of Valdosta that isn’t just another chain, we never get bored with Friends Grille and Bar!

At lunch 40 minutes is way to long to wait for a burger buts it was a great burger. Fries sucked and waitress took them off the bill. Wait staff was nice. Why is it so hard to make decent fries.

Assistant Manager not always considerate and professional. I had made a reservation 3 weeks prior for New Years Eve. Arrived a little early. We took a look around and there was a table for 4 empty from the time we arrived in the front and one in the back where it is quiet. We were told numerous excuses of why we were having to wait beyond reservation time. One was that the people we finally paying their check. Finally 35 minutes of our reservation we were seated at the table that had been empty the whole wait. It was too late to leave and find another place since we had reservations at this restaurant. My daughters birthday is this week and we use to like to come there but it has left us with a dislike for there service. I am a professional nurse and my friend owns a hotel in the area. I called and spoke to the assistant manager. She was presumptuous and not at all considerate of the situation. Just thought this is important and people should be aware.
