Diamond in the Rough. Don’t judge a book by the cover. Food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Friendly and informative staff on the dishe’s served. The live music was very relaxing. Our party each had a different dish and everyone enjoyed their food. Lentil soup with our meal was a meal itself plus the warm fresh bread! Oh, and the Sangria was refreshing too!

Excellent Food/Snooty Waiter. My brother came into town in the midst of his battle with brain cancer. Of all the restaurants in Valdosta he requested Guilio’s. It was one of his favorites when he lived here years ago. It was the rest of our family’s first visit. Our small family dined on the porch of this beautiful house. We ordered the 4 course dinner with wine. Each course was more delicious than the next and for about $25.00 each we got wine, bread, soup, salad, entre and dessert. The atmosphere and food were perfect and the company was impeccable. The only flaw to our perfect evening with my beloved brother was the pretentiousness of the waiter. It was a slow week night and we were his only table. He was impatient with my elderly mother as she tried to decide what to order and seemed downright arrogant when she asked questions about menu items. When we asked the waiter to give us a few minutes to decide the man openly rolled his eyes and sighed! He barely made conversation as he brought each dish and never once asked us if the food was satisfactory. I would most definitely eat there again as the food is incredible but I would ask for another waiter next time.

We went for the first time in December and loved it. Then we went tonight for Valentines and it was awful! I had roasted lamb and it was over cooked and all of the food was just slopped onto the plate. My husband ordered the prime rib and he asked for it med-rare. He was brought an over cooked and very tough piece of what seemed to be some random chunk of beef. The service is excellent and it’s a nice place, but the valentines menu was a HUGE disappointment. $80 down the drain 🙁

Awesome Valentine Meal. We again ate at Giulio’s, and again were very pleased. The appetizer of spinach souffle and cheese pie was excellent. My wife ordered the Italian Combo, featured healthy samplings of four pasta dishes, served with a fine house salad. I ordered the Greek Chicken Pie with carrot sticks served on the side. I chose the tomato lentil soup. Both of us were very pleased. My homemade sangria was very good. We were too full for dessert, and each took part of our entree home for tomorrow’s lunch. Live piano was a nice touch in the background.

Once again the best. We had large party room for our group. Our table was ready water poured fresh flowers food & every thing was perfect. We stayed 3 hours. We had one on one service which was extremely impressive with an extra helper. The only exception our toddler needed milk instead of soda. We had choice of wines & sangria. I recommend this place for parties or private dining. Historical home on Ann Street across from VSU campus. We noticed new Discounts Tues.VSU; Wed.Greek; Thurs.pasta. We’ll be returning more often.
