Osaka is my go-to sushi joint in Valdosta. Excellent selection of sushi, fair priced and exceptional service. Although there may be ‘fancier’ places in town, Osaka is by far the best bang for your buck. The family that runs the restaurant have always been very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I’ve never had a bad experience here. The hibachi is fairly standard but the sushi is always on point. The rolls range between the 3-6 dollar range with the special rolls hanging around 8-13 dollars. I’ve fallen in love with their sweet potato roll!My boyfriend and I’ve been to all the sushi/Japanese places around town and there’s just something about Osaka that keeps us coming back!
My favorite place in valdosta for sushi. I always say you can judge a place by the quality of its nigiri and this place has it spot on! Fish tastes really fresh. They do tend to be a bit stingy on the protein in their hibachi and rice bowls however. If you want sushi, come here. Hibachi? Search elsewhere.
