Great place for BBQ and the owner is a super nice very cordial man. Asked if we had been there before said no he then gave us a very generous free sample of pulled pork and smoked sausage that was enough that we could have just eaten that and been satisfied for lunch.Ordered 2 pulled pork dinners potato salad and beans were great too.Your missing out if you don’t try this gem we will be back soon

OUTSTANDING, WELL WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I had the pulled pork dinner today, my very first visit here and most definitely not my last visit either. The neighborhood is on the sketchy side but don’t let that stop you from getting the ABSOLUTE best BBQ in Valdosta, Ga there is. It is a little on the pricey side however, with the extremely generous portions, GREAT tasting food it is more than worth it. If you are ever in Valdosta, Ga do yourself a favor and stop by Sam’s bbq you will not regret it.
Great food! As others have mentioned, the neighborhood is a little sketchy but don’t let that stop you. They were out of pulled pork so we got the rib dinner. YUMMY.
Sam is a great guy with an unmatched skill in BBQ he recently catered my company’s customer appreciation cookout- Valdosta Commercial Doors. The pulled pork is the best food of any category I have ever tasted. Sam himself is a very likeable person witch in my opinion adds to the greatness of his food
I’m not sure which was better: the great guy behind the counter or the pulled pork. We live in Indiana but we’ll definitely be back.
Out of this world BBQ. The location should never be a reason people do not stop on in and get some BBQ. The best BBQ i have ever tasted. The ribs sandwich was the best I’ve ever had, fall off the bone, finger licking good. The man working was so sweet and helpful. Asked if I’d like a rib to sample with the 2 sauces so I knew which one I wanted. A rib sandwich cost me $7.47 and was so much ribs the to go box could barely close. This place has no competition in my opinion and more people should know about it !
