The food arrived quickly, however the shakes took over 30 minutes and repeated requests to the server to arrive. The food was typical of most Steak n’ Shake restaurants. The service was not typical however. It was slow and unhelpful. I can understand if the restaurant is busy, the service being slow, however we were the only ones in the place other than one other table. Totally unacceptable.
This particular restaurant is always slow but today was by far the slowest service. It took 51 minutes to receive our whole order with the first item, a biscuit, arriving 48 minutes after we arrived. This was a simple order of pancakes and scrambled eggs with hash-browns. .
Have eaten here several times and everything has been very good……except today 1-26-13. The patty, the bun and the fries were the temperature of a refrigerator. It was cold. Since we used the drive-thru and had already left, we didn’t make a complaint. We will give them another try in the near future.
