I went to The Egg & I with my sister this afternoon around 12:30. We were seated immediately although others had to wait about 5-10 minutes to sit inside.. We took an outside table and the weather was great and it was much less chaotic compared to the busy crowded dining room. Despite how busy they were we wear greeted quickly by Jordan and got our drinks fast. One of our friends decided to join us after we sat down and we asked the manager if his food could possibly get rushed to come out with ours. The food all came out together and tasted amazing. The Ruben is my favorite menu item and the Strawberry Banana Walnut Waffle is delicious too. We’re always pleased with the food and service at The Egg & I and I recommend it to anyone looking for an impressive breakfast experience.

Poorly Cooked. First time to TE&I. The menu sounded good and the service was fine, but I had the Texas skillet for $9.00 and it was supposed to have beef strips, bell peppers, mushrooms and potatoes. Well, there sure were plenty of potatoes, but the bell peppers and mushrooms were maybe a half teaspoon of each. The beef strips turned out to be hamburger The eggs were ordered over light and were almost cooked hard. My wife’s raisin toast was burned. About half of my potatoes were burned….Should have returned both plates, but you know the rumor, they always spit on them when one does that…On the plus side, the coffee was good and they offer (you have to ask) a 10% discount for seniors and military…

Good service. Good food. Nothing too fancy. Reasonable price. I have made several trips and would go back.

I expected more. I really like breakfast food and I was excited to try The Egg & I. The service was a little slow, which wouldn’t have been a big deal if we hadn’t been starving. The food was pretty good, but wasn’t spectacular. Not really sure how to explain but I just expected more from a place called The Egg & I. I would still go back however.

I have no idea why this place only has a 75% rating the food is fantastic. It was hot ,fresh ,cooked to order and the service was great too. I will definitely be back. I guess the old saying is true that you can’t please everyone.

So much better in 2014. After reading all the reviews from 2013, I can see the Egg & I is MUCH better. The food is great and the staff are wonderful. I love going there. The staff are very personable and the manager makes sure that everything is going ok. Try this restaurant again, it is great!

Definitely some of the best breakfast food that I have ever had. Try the raspberry French toast while it is here, you won’t regret it! 😉
