Good Home Cooking in your own backyard. Come support this place! Too many local mom & pop diners and restaurants have closed in Villa Rica and it’s a shame. This place has awesome home-style bbq. Fresh cut French fries like your Grandma used to make. I have tried the pulled pork sandwich, cross fries, chicken and on Sunday they have all the fixins’. Fried chicken with mashed potatoes, bread, veggies, and it includes yummy cobbler. Love this place!!

Open!!!!. This restaurant has been open since March 2011 and has some of the best food in West Atlanta!!!! They prices are great! The service is great and everyone should come out and support this local restaurant so that word can get out that is open….
Best around. Great atmosphere with a train themed decor, and right next to the tracks. brisket is juicier than the pork at most other places, stew is awesome, ribs have a delicious sugary crunch on the outside that when paired with the sweeter of the two sauces is out of this world. we would drive 100 miles. We have been to rehearsal dinners there, and had it catered. We are spoiled and we get disappointed when we have BBQ anywhere else. But I must say that I prefer the small town feel of the Villa Rica location to the Douglas Blvd. location which seems a little more modern, and the service in VR is awesome too.
Absolutely AMAZING!. We eat at least 2-3 time a month at Iron Horse. The brunswick stew is unbelieveable and my kids are hooked on the grill hamburgers and hot dogs. My fave is the loaded pork potato! The service is great and you WILL NOT beat the prices (usually around $20-$25 for our family of 4. If you haven’t been, you haven’t had BBQ!!!
Great. OMG the trainwreck is the best, Im not a huge hotdog fan but I love the trainwreck. I would suggest for everyone to try it at least once, twice if your smart….lol
FANTASTIC!!!. I had the BBQ Brisket Sundae.Weird name, but it was delicious!Best BBQ in Douglasville, GA by far!
