What are they saying?!. Funny reading the comments before mine. I am not sure if the poeple know what service is. The serving staff at the Trading Post is exceptionally friendly. I go there often and I have never met an unfriendly employee. I completely disagree with these comments made. If we sit at our table for more than a couple of minutes the same tall, blonde lady who is always there will come by and ask if someone has helped us and 95% of the time someone already has. I appreciate her concern. I am not sure if she is the manager or not but she is extremely friendly and always has a smile on her face. I can understand everyone not liking the food. To each their own, however their menu is quite large so maybe you should try a few things. Others that commeneted that their food was canned..maybe some things are , I dont know. However, maybe you SHOULD go somewhere else. My opinion is this place if great. Even if I have tried something I didnt really like, I have always found something else there that was much better. The staff is wonderful. And the managers do tend to their issues. If someone is rude to you then it needs to be addressed right then. So Trading Post keep on keeping on…you cant make everyone happy, but Villa Rica loves you!

Reply. Matthew. I am not picky, I just have real tastebuds and know what tastes good and what doesn’t. I have every right to be picky when it’s my money I am so kind to give them.21 Nov, 2014People are so rude. We’ve been there twice and both times the service was horrible. I will not be returning. Seems like you have to really be their mind of people to get the service other people are putting I’m their reviews.21 Nov, 2013I didn’t like an item on my plate And the manager told me they would charge me to fix it but took off less than I would’ve paid. The manager didn’t even come to the table to formally apologize. He/she just sent her employees to do his/her bidding. I wasn’t trying to get free food, I just felt like I shouldn’t have to waste money on something I didn’t like. Which was what it seemed like they didn’t care enough in the first place. This is a very unorganized restaurant. We got asked twice in a row what we wanted to drink. I was polite throughout the whole progress and they made me feel like I should’ve just kept my mouth shut. The salmon patties tasted like fish pancakes literally, the service is horrible and the food is overpriced. I will never be returning. And I will be sure to tell my friends and family the way we were treated today21 Nov, 2013Nothing except the mashed potatoes are good. The servers are rude and the food is canned and over priced.

Down home country goodness.. I’ve eaten at the Trading Post numerous times and never disappointed. The food was good and so was the service. For little more than the price of fast food, you can sit down and be served a good meal . It’s not O charlies or Ruby Tuesdays, so don’t go there expecting it to be like them. It’s family owned and down home country cooking.

Mean People. I just wanted to comment on what Lou said. I have been going in this restaurant for years and what he wrote sounds like he was in a different restaurant. Maybe he needs to stay home if he is that picky and rude. That has got to be one of the friendliest places I have ever ate in. They are extremely busy every time I go. They must be doing something right. I love you guys keep up the good work.

Best burgers ever!!!!. I have been a customer of this restaurant for years now, the food is great, but lets face it the service not so good!!! it used to be the best around!! me and my family go there for dinner at least twice a week but this past weekend the service was terrible!! and come to find out the girl who treated us so badly was the new manager!!!! I will be calling the owner my self… she has never tolerated that type of behavior I do love this place and we will continue to eat there but maybe for lunch defiantly wont be back for dinner!!

Die and Went to Heven. Trading Post Caf is now my favorite restaurant. I moved to Villa Rica three months ago, and I really was home sick. When the lady at Wal-Mart suggested the Trading Post Caf for homemade southern cooking I made it appoint to go back and thank her. This is truly a place that has the feel of a time when people cared and treated others like a friend. They took the time to make me feel like part of the family after I told them I was home sick. The food and people are amazing and I now visit three to four time a week, there is such a variety I need tire of visiting. Thanks Richard.
