Terrible. I tried China Moon for the first time this evening and was very disappointed. I was looking forward to spending a night in and enjoy delivery Chinese, and I am on my way back out to get something different. The sesame chicken was dry and fatty. The wontons were hard and cold. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!
Checked on line first then went to the restaurant. The menu on line for lunch is very different than the restaurant menu and the prices are higher. So don’t trust the on line menu. I ordered Sesame chicken with hot sour soup, ginger salad and fried rice. The hot sour soup was okay, spicy with some sort of meat in it, never had meat in hot sour soup before. The salad was really small and watery. The fried rice was very dry and tasteless, added a lot of soy sauce. The sesame chicken was okay, fried with a sweet sauce and a sprinkle of sesame. The main dish and check came before I finished my soup. Think I will stick with Chin Chin nearby, much better food!!
Horribe Service and Food!. I had the worst experience this week at China Moon. First and foremost this was my first time going to China moon along with a co-worker of mine. The service was horrible along with the food! Our waitress was extremley rude and impatient. When it was all said and done, my co-worker decided not to leave her a tip due mainly to her rudeness. You are not going to believe what came out of the waitress’s mouth. She actually had the audacity to ask my co-worker why she didn’t leave her a tip!!!!!! I have never in my life had a waitress/waiter to ask a cusomer why they did not leave a tip!!! I think my co-worker and I were more in shock then anything!!!! I will not be returning to China Moon, nor will I refer anyone to go there! They just lost two customers due to rudeness! Horrible service as I stated.
Simply Awesome. I travel out of my way for good food. This wasn’t out of my way and it was the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. The Wonton soup just sang to me with flavor. The spring rolls were enormous and stuffed with fresh shrimp and tangy chicken. The Firecracker Shrimp was unique and like I have never had before. Too much food for sure, but tastes that met every desire. A great restaurant in a wonderful part of Atlanta. Go and experience for yourself.
Satisfied. I have only had the fried rice, but I can honestly say it’s the best fried rice I have had since moving here from Chicago. Extra spicy upon request and even the biggest eater can’t eat it in one sitting.
Best Chinese in the Cumberland Area. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients, and the food is cooked to order with minimal waiting. Not the type of place you’d eat in, but great for take out!
Sad to see the Sushi go, but still love them!. This is one of my favorite places. I love any place that knows me by name and helps me celebrate my birthday. Was saddened to find out in February that they closed the Sushi part of the restaurant cause they had my favorite roll, but the Chinese is still the best I’ve found in Atlanta. It’s AWESOME takeout service and the food is beyond words. If you’re anywhere in the area, you MUST check this place out.
