How????. How can you screw up salsa?? I have no idea but their salsa is awful. No food that they serve here tastes good. It’s all slightly over-priced run-of-the-mill Tex-Mex food and weak drinks. The only cool part is the rooftop patio. But even then, the last time we went they had the misters on…the entire time…and it wasn’t even hot outside. If they really worked on the taste of their food here, it would bring so much more business in. In the meantime, I will satisfy my salsa needs elsewhere.
Unique, delicious, reasonably priced delights. Party of eight had unanimous agreement. Title says it all.
Cannot accomodate items on their menu. I should have known not to dine here when there was a note posted on the door saying that the coffee machine was broken. Live and learn. My friend and I ordered a cocktail from Cinco’s cocktail menu. After we were halfway through our appetizer, the waiter tells us that they are missing a liquor for the drink. My friend and I order a different drink. Mine on the rocks; hers frozen. My friend is told that the frozen machine is broken, so she again orders a different drink. By now, we have almost completed our meal when our drinks (plain ole margaritas by the way) finally arrive.
Will be Returning. My wife and I dined at Cinco’s before the Frankie Valli concert which was next door at the Cobb Energy Center. Great service and reasonable prices. The $3 Dos Equis on a Saturday night was definitely a hit. The gauc dip was made fresh and our burrito dinners were great. No complaints and will return again.
To say it was awful is being nice. This was my first time at Cinco’s in Vinnings and it will be my last. I was part of a large party – fourteen people. Once we were seated, it took 20 minutes to get our drinks and that was done haphazardly with some people waiting longer. When our order was finally taken, it must have fallen into the abyss. A large party that came in and was seated after us was ordering their dessert and our food still was not out. When I inquired with the manager, she told me the food was being plated. Twenty minutes later the food came out…cold! No one ever provided us with more chips and salsa and the manager or anyone else for that matter never apologized for things taking so long. The entire experience took two hours. Not a way to run a restaurant and if I owned the place I would be looking to find new leadership.
Underwhelming. Before the ballet, we thought we’d try this restaurant for a relaxed dinner. But it ended up not being so relaxed. They brought the wrong meal for my daughter, which they corrected and comped us. No water, even after two requests. Then at the end of the meal-water. The refried beans were PURED. Not an appetizing format. Anyway, I probably won’t return.
Yuck!!! And bad service. Lunch on Sat. 3/1/14 near Cumberland mall, slow seating no one at desk when we enter, ordered the fajita chicken, the tortilla where hard, chicken was dry and the container the tortillas were served in had a burn hole all the way through. No plate to prepare my fajita on. The roman shade are torn in the booth area to the left as you walk in. Poor slow service. There is a lot better Mexican food with better service. No thanks
