Try the buffalo chicken panini. You may think of a tavern for drinking beer and hanging out with friends. You can certainly do that at McCrays but you have to try their food. Had the buffalo chicken panini and broccoli cheddar soup. I would give them 5 stars out of 5. Freshly battered chicken tender and a delicious sauce. Friendly service and a great atmosphere. They even have the Fivestars loyalty card.
RUDE SERVICE. I have absolutely no interest in eating at McCray’s Tavern in Smyrna after my friends and I were accused of not tipping our waitress, especially when we distinctly remember tipping in cash. If you want poor service, rude attitudes, and false accusations, then McCray’s is the place for you!I go down there to find out when we didn’t tip, since that’s just not possible. I called my friend to see if we really didn’t tip. We both then remember that we tipped in cash for the mediocre service. I call McCray’s to explain that to them, and the woman just has a rude attitude. She pretty much defends their waitress and blah blah blah. I’m just mad. I don’t like eating at place with bad service and rude workersJust because I’m a teenager doesn’t mean I don’t deserve to be treated properly. If i’m a paying customer I expect to be treated like a customer
I enjoy it. Let’s start with the most important issue to most diners, the food. Some items are excellent and others are sub par. Overall the food is above average. it is tasty and usually they have a unique special which keeps me coming back. The atmosphere is the best part. This is a great first date place. Ask for a seat out on the patio, drink some wine, and eat some good food. Perfect. The service is great and all the staff I have experienced is very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Love it. My favorite sports bar in Atlanta. They have a friendly poker league that plays on Monday and Thursday. I like to catch Monday Night Football here and play poker that day. The food and beer menu has a great selection, and the quality is superb. Love the atmosphere too!
Always enjoy it. I come here frequently because the location is ideal and the food is always excellent – best eggs ever!
Needs work. Food that we ordered was pretty good, got a few apps, I have eaten here before and wasn’t impressed although friends raved about it. Our server was sort of eh… Honestly the way the manager treated us was rather annoying, and considering not returining again due to his attitude. I am sure this place will survive as the beer selection is good and they have a captive audiene in west village.
My friend lives upstairs at a condo in the complex so I have been here a few times. The place has potential to be cool but the god awful service is probably what keeps the place empty.
