Never Again. Never.. Went here for Thanksgiving Buffet. What a terrible experience, particularly when we were so hopeful and excited when we walked in. The topper was when we were asked to leave after being there for just an hour (for a Holiday buffet) because a larger party was coming, despite us being on time for our reservation. Who books a reservation for only one hour?! To add insult to injury, we were offered a cocktail at another table when we were asked to move; we requested the cocktail and it NEVER came. Moreover, we were charged for soft drinks (at a buffet!), and a 25% gratuity was added to our check for a party of three (again, at a buffet!).The food was lousy–turkey tough and salty, little variety, and not hot. The restaurant ran out of white meat turkey, as well–at 2:30 in the afternoon. We will never, ever go there again. What a shame such a cute venue harbors such lousy service and food.

This place was amazing! A great historic location. A quaint lil bar upstairs. A chef passionate about amazing food. Loved it. Will definitely be back anytime I’m in this area!!!

My wife and I really liked what the new owners have accomplished. On the meat and cheese plate they had a housemade soft cheese that was completely out of this world. Service was cleanly executed and the owner attentive.

Will give it another shot with new owners. Love the setting, but last time it was awful. With new ownership, I will give it another try.02 Sep, 2011Slipping. Probably been there fifty times and last nite was the worst so far. Waiter not helpful or engaging, a higher priced menu and generic tasting food. A waste of the most charming setting in Vinings! Great service can redeem an off day in the kitchen, but poor service makes average food worse.

$25 for shrimp and grits? THREE shrimp is all you get? Really?!? $9 for a small glass of house wine. Really?!? Ran out of salmon on a Wednesday night? Yeah, really did. Arrogance with an attitude. Will NEVER go back! RIPOFF!!! No, even WORSE!

Yuke. Crappy food – dirty restaurant – cheesy ambiance – unattentive service – noisy

We’ve tried to go here a few times but it’s not been open. Apparently they have been remodeling, so we were glad we tried again. The brunch menu was just right. The eggs Benedict was lovely and the portobello mushroom soup was heaven. The Caesar salad was okay but the croutons and parmesan cheese made up for it. The goat cheese served was so creamy! The coffee was brewed fresh and tasted as good as it smelled. We were full but the crme brle was worth it (and almost too good to share!) Overall, we’ve found a definite Saturday morning place to treat ourselves.
