Outstanding Mediterranean food & service. My wife and I visited this restaurant (Brookhaven location) for the first time on a last moment whim and are delighted we did. Intimate restaurant with patio seating available although we chose the inside seating on this occasion. The atmosphere and recorded Greek music really does give you the feeling of being transported to a small Greek taverna. Great food (we had the excellent gyro platters with an absolutely outstanding Greek salad. We are Greek food lovers and these folks do it as well as any U.S. restaurant we’ve visited. Our server (Zach) couldn’t have been any more attentive. For dessert, we enjoyed an excellent baklava. To top everything off, the food was relatively cheap! All-in-all, a can’t miss dining treat!
Decor was cute, good was moderately priced (but seven bucks for a side of falafels… Really…) the chicken gyro was fabulous (with tzatziki subbed for tahini sauce) as was the reg gyro, falafels were tasty and fresh, but the hummus was nothing exciting and pretty bland. We ordered to go and it took quite a while but didn’t mind with the good music playing in there. A bit overpriced, but for a lunch spot in vinings just down the down the street it’s convenient enough and tasty enough to be worth it. Greek salad is alright too.

Gyro meat was thinly sliced rectangles and nowhere near as tasty as freshly sliced gyro meat you can easily find at your local mall. 4 of us went there from work for lunch. Our waiter refused to split up the check even though there were only 5 items on the bill. He offered to split it evenly 4 ways but that didn’t work. He also refused to let us pay at the register because that would cause problems with their staff getting to the other tables. We won’t be back!
Delicious Hummus!!! Fresh food. We had the pasta salad, hummus, and falafel platter. Great service too! I will definitely be going back.
Food Ok, Customer Service is lacking. I’m a fan of Mediterranean food and the food was okay. However, the management was not very friendly or accommodating to honoring the rules of a coupon. As a result, I will not go back.
Loved It. Great Hommus. I ate here with friends this weekend and it was divine.Lamb chops were buttery, tasty, spiced just right and just exploded with the wine. Great wine list for such a small, intimate spot.Started with several appetizers, hommus, had double of that, baba gauji, eggplant was exotic. I liked the way the appetizers came with the wine, plenty of toasty, warm pita.Then we relaxed with good wine ,great conversation, very efficient, friendly,service and received our entrees right on time. I had to fight my wife off from my lamb. We both had the warm, moist, tasty rice and she had chicken. I took bites of the chicken and love the spices. Some places have bland chicken. This chicken had great spice.I wish they were also closer to my house, but I will drive to Vinings at least twice a month for this meal.
Best hummus in the city. If you like hummus and live in the area, you need to get over to Olive Bistro. A great little neighborhood spot with some really good Mediterranean food. The hummus is the best in the city so let that be your starting point. Service is always friendly.
