I find it very interesting that this establishment’s score is so low here. My experience was quite different than what at least 35% of voters experienced. I just happened to be passing by around 7am this morning and thought I’d give it a try. I had no prior knowledge nor any specific expectations when I entered. Therefore, I’m going to do a full gula report:Atmosphere: Very quaint log cabin diner. The interior has log walls with some limited effort to give it a woodsy feel. There are a few game mounts on the wall as well as some general country decor, some of which is vintage. No music. The lighting was a little dim, which actually appealed to me. I don’t like bright lights in the morning. I’d give it 3.25 forks!!!.Cleanliness: The health score was a solid 90. I didn’t see or have any cleanliness issues. The restroom was decent, but could use some new paint. I think I’ll give them 3.5 forks!!!.Service: I feel that it was slightly above average. The workers seem very personal. They called several of the locals by name. I did wait for a menu/drink order slightly longer than what I’d expect and I had to wait again at the cash register to pay for my meal. My food arrived about fifteen minutes after I ordered which is about average. This is probably simply a case of understaffing. I’ll give them Three forks!!!Quality of Food: I ordered a breakfast plate, it included: Two servings of tenderloin(I had mine fried and it was some of the best I’ve had. Not greasy, but crispy and tender!!!!), two over medium eggs(cooked perfectly), two biscuits(nice and fluffy, but stayed together) and a bowl of gravy(good). I actually have to give them Four forks!!!!Value of Food: All the above mentioned food for $7.00. I felt like this is the ideal price, but they could actually get a little more for that much food. Four forks!!!!Final Score – 3.55 , Very Good!This restaurant is popular among the locals. There were about thirty patrons present while I was there. I’d definitely eat here again. I wonder if lunch & dinner are as good as breakfast?

Wanda’s Restaraunt. I had the barbeque sandwich with slaw on it and fries. It was really good. I will try to go back when they are serving their steak and potatoes. I heard they are delicious.
Yum!. The atmosphere, the staff, and the food=amazing! I had their country fried steak and gravy and my goodness! It was country cooking at its finest!
Great breakfast, good dinner. I had a ham and cheese omlette and boy was it good, as were the hashbrowns! Hubby had a pancake breakfast with a couple of big pancakes, eggs and bacon & sausage…all of which were delish. He loved that they brought the syrup bottle to the table! LoL Sweet tea is really good also. For dinner we have tried the hamburger steak and it was good, not the best we’ve ever had but still good. I can’t recall what sides we had. I would give their dinner a try again but so far their breakfast is my fave.
