A work in progress with great promise. The godfather is a fantastic burger that delivers with unique flavors. Still working out the kinks, but expanding the dining area will improve the environment. Adding fountain drinks will is a must, but I can’t wait to see what this place has to offer in the coming months. The bottom line is that the food is great. Give it a chance.
Overpriced and not that great…. You better have some to die for food and service for the prices. And the food part they do not have! I ate there for the first time today on my lunch to try something new (we had tried to go there once before but it packed when my family of 4 tried to go. I’ve heard people say it is great. I ordered the Lord of the Rings Burger with Big Pic Sauce with fries and a root beer (12 oz) for $12.03 and it took about 15 minutes for my order (which I was prepared for because I asked before I ordered and they said about 15 minutes). The place is SUPER small right now but it appears as though they are expanding into the space that is available next door so that’s good the folks that like this place.Pros:1. The young lady at the counter was nice but didn’t really greet me as I stood there so I didn’t know if she was ready to take my order or not. It was kind of awkward at first.2. Fries seem to be fresh cut which is always nice.Cons:1. If you are running a burger place that is charging $8 for a 1/2 lb burger I would like to get it cooked to my liking (personally that’s medium).2. If you are going to charge that much for a burger, I expect to be served. Instead I have to order at a counter in a very small restaurant with no room for a line.3. Big Pic Sauce = mustard with a LITTLE bit of ketchup and some other stuff in it bit you can’t taste them over the mustard.4. The menu says the burgers are seasoned but honestly mine tasted like ground beef/chuck and was on the verge of dry. I didn’t taste any seasoning in the meat itself not even salt5. I was going to order the onion rings but at $4 I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. I’m glad I didn’t because the burger I had, had two on it and they didn’t really bring anything to the table.I’m sorry if this seems like a blistering review but I was greatly disappointed for a $12 lunch meal or any meal for that matter.
Good Philly Cheesesteak. Small, quaint little place that has maybe 5-7 tables and located in a town loaded with chain restaraunts and crappy Chinese and devoid of any culinary talent. But Big Picture is decent enough to come back to again. You should definitely order carry-out if you are coming in during a peak time. I am a Philly Cheesesteak lover and I find it to be a good local option to get by on. My only fear is that it definitely looks like one of those places that may fold within the next year. I went in during lunch and I was the only one there. So we’ll see how this place does only because the people in this area flock to the aforementioned chain restaraunts. But overall, I was satisfied with the food and service and plan to be back for many more Philly cheesesteaks.
Way overpriced and no place to sit when you go. They have like 5 tables! I would much rather grill burgers at home.
This is my 2nd visit to Big Picture Burger. The food is wonderful, nothing to complain about there. The decor is done very nicely as well. However, the extremely small dining area can make it hard to enjoy your meal during normal lunch or dinner hours. My recommendation is to take your food to go if you are ordering for more than 1 or 2 people. Also, the prices are well above average for the area and other surrounding lunch joints. With no drive thru and very limited seating I feel that at least fries should be included with your burger order. I could get 2 Hardee’s burger meals of almost the same quality for the same price as one lunch meal at Big Picture Burger. My grand total for a canned drink, French fries, & the godfather burger was $14.98 without tip.
