New Ownership. Emilios closed a few months ago but has been bought by someone else. The food is excellent especially the Churrasco steak and Tres Leches cake. The new name will be Cuban Island Caf.

Outstanding!. This is the only place I know of to get authentic Cuban food in Middle Georgia. The food is great and the atmosphere is very cool. One night I went and they were giving tango lessons! It was awesome! Be sure to try the croquetas. They’re delicious!

The food was ok…didn’t really have that Cuban taste..and sometimes the food taste re-heated and not cooked. Cafe caribe is ALOT better. If you want real Spanish tasting food go to cafe caribe off watson blvd! Emilios has good coffee though 🙂

Hopefully… I’m hoping that I went in on an off night or something. I had already had a bad Mexican meal at El Cotija (the one off 96), and was craving flan for dessert, and figured I’d stop at Emilio’s for it. I got two pieces of flan to go, and when I settled in at home and went to eat one of the pieces, I was disappointed in both the size of the dessert (for what I paid) and the taste. It had a very bitter vanilla taste to it, and it wasn’t the Cuban flan I’d had in Florida. Other reviews here are raving about the sandwiches and stuff… perhaps I’ll go back for that. I’m certainly not liking the impression this has left me, though…

Ok…. I’ve been a couple of times, most recently just for dessert. the tres leches cake is pretty good. I’d go back for a sandwich, but will AVOID the seafood; both me & a friend got seriously upset stomachs after consuming the paella.
