Great Investment in property….. to bad the food doesn’t measure up!!!. Just had the pulled pork sandwiches….. Not fresh pulled, and lack of flavor….source is somewhat like pickle juice…bad….catsup would complement the meat better. Slaw had no flavor…needs onion and more green leaves and more carrot….red cabbage wound help it also!Stew was pretty good, but missing the tiny green peas. Also missing the dash of Worcestershire sauce, and to little onion….Obviously the people that eat here don’t know good Georgia BBQ. Being a native of Macon, I would say, go to Fresh Air BBQ, twice as good, and half the price!I won’t be back!

Not worth the detour off I-75!. A BBQ joint attached to a convenience store is not a bad idea, if you can keep it clean! This place needs a serious cleaning and update. The food itself was okay, but the only flavor in the meat was the sauce. The smoke flavor was missing and Brunswick stew does not not have to be made in a blender. Overall the experience got a grade of D minus.
Best in Warner Robins. I had Georgia Bobs yesterday for lunch. I got the 3 peice meat combo: brisket, ribs, and chicken…with the two sides baked beans and coleslaw. Everything was delicious, not really into st. louis style ribs, but they were good. I will be going back frequently. Don’t let its location fool you (being in a gas station) its 10x better than sonnys. FYI, i mixed all three bbq sauces together and made an awesome mutant super sauce! worth a try!
If you love BBQ, go elsewhere… I had Georgia Bob’s the weekend I moved to Georgia and I was really excited since I assumed staying in the south (from Alabama to Florida to Georgia) would guarantee good BBQ! Wrong. The sauce is weird..it’s hard to tell what the base of it is– mustard, molasses, ketchup?? It’s almost like a combination of them all. You can get different flavors, but none were really that great. The hot BBQ sauce was entirely too hot. It’s one thing to be spicy, but to be so hot that you can’t taste anything else on your plate?? The baked beans were okay, potato salad was mediocre and the cole slaw was like a cup of watered down mayo with bits of slaw mixed in. Their sweet tea isn’t even good. I was born and raised in the south, so sweet tea runs in my blood, but good grief! It was like drinking straight sugar water! I love my sweet tea, but there is a such thing as too sweet and theirs is WAY too sweet!
