  We stopped in for breakfast this morning going in a knew there would be a wait and I was fine with that. I went to the hostess and gave the number of people in my party. I waited and when my name was called I went so that I could be given the table but the hostess or whatever he was asked if my whole party was there I said the other two were outside. He rudely waved me away said to give him a minute with no explanation. I asked why. He said I needed my whole party to be given the table. I said they are right outside and he said you can have your table when they come inside. That is ridiculous that policy is not posted anywhere in the building and on a crowded morning like this morning there wasn’t even room for my whole party to be inside. Why wasn’t I told before I waited that I needed to have my whole party at the time we are seated? It’s not as if the service or food quality even warrants such a policy. It seems to me IHOP has gotten too big for it’s britches.

  Like most IHOPS they have good food that is way overpriced with spotty at best service. Fairly typical of most IHOPS

  Disappointed. I went to IHOP mainly because I saw this add that said kids eat free between 3-6 PM: http://www.outtoeatwithkids.com/restaurantseoResults.php?state=GA&city=WarnerRobins&day=All. I got to the restaurant and was seated promptly. All the staff are very professional and courteous. However, the server did not know about the kids eat free deal and said that it was only on Fridays. Eventually, (I think after we ordered) the server returned and said that there was indeed the free kid’s meal. My son ordered the funny face pancakes (chocolate) and I got the appetizer sampler with a side of fries as well. The funny face seemed fine. However, the appetizers didn’t seem right at all. Mostly it was the fries and onion rings that were the problem. The fries had absolutely no seasoning on them and I was sort of looking forward to the seasoning since that is how they are advertised in the menu. The onion rings also looked nothing like the menu. Instead of a flaky outer breading I received very greasy and smooth outer crust. I was disappointed but they actually weren’t too bad and I was hungry so I just ate about half. The rest were too nasty looking to even consider. My son was just happy to have some fries. Still though, what’s served should resemble the menu. Finally, as I was leaving, I had to ask again for the kids meal cost to be deducted. The cashier deducted the kid’s meal and said that the manager had told the employees not to tell people about the free kid’s meal. That just doesn’t seem right. I didn’t complain at the restaurant but I did send an email to corporate through their website. I’ve experienced irate employees before so I didn’t want to risk that. I won’t go back to this IHOP but I have had much better experiences at other IHOPs so I may go to a different location.
