Simple and delicious!. I stopped by WR to take an exam, and this was a quick lunch stop for me. The place is small and cute, and the owner is really sweet. The lunch specials were great! The entrees were less than $10 for traditional meat entrees like galbi (Korean BBQ ribs) and bulgogi (KBBQ beef slices). The side dishes were very simple but very good. Nothing was overdone or too exotic. I had the galbi lunch special and a plate of steamed mandoo (Korean dumplings). The portion was decent and I got a handful of moist and flavorful dumplings. Definitely more than I thought I would get. The galbi was almost as good as my mom’s so I devoured it. The owner cooked everything fresh and all my food came out hot (10 minute wait). I’m Korean, so trust me when I say that the food is not fancy, but it is definitely a feel-at-home style of cooking. Simple and sweet, without the extra seasonings or unnecessary umphs. It’s seriously a perfect meal. I believe my total was about $11 for the mandoo, galbi, various side dishes, and rice. Pretty good deal. Worth the try!!

Yummy!. I have been eating here since 2002, and the food keeps getting better. Yes the service is slow but they cook it to order – so it is exactly what you want piping hot! It is more than worth the wait. The Staff are friendly and make you feel like you are a part of the family. I highly recommend this establishment!

Food is Great.. The food is great and the owner and her two daughters are nice and friendly. the eldest daughter works at lunch time and the youngest at dinner time. service is not slow, but when it gets busy and there is one waitress serving 6 or 7 tables at a time you do the math it will take some time to get your food. I think they are doing an awesome job with the owner being the only one cooking and one waitress at lunch or dinner services.

Good Korean. This is my second favorite Korean place in WR. The food is great, prices are good but for me the service is to slow and the atmosphere is not the greatest. The biggest reason I go there is for the Bi-bim-neng.myon( ). I love that stuff!
