It’s ok. No atmosphere, food’s ok, quacamole is good. Food needs more spicing, salsa is bland. Good prices. Limited hours. I grew up with hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurants in CA which were great, this is not!
My son and I stopped in here for a late lunch last week. I’ve driven by this place hundreds of times, but finally had time to give it a try. I think I’ll do a full Gula report.Atmosphere: A nice effort is given to give the place an authentic Mexican ambience. Lots of decor and nic-nacs. No music was playing, just a tv. I guess I could award them Three Forks!!!Cleanliness: I did not notice any major cleanliness issues. I think it could be a little more tidy, but overall I was pleased. I will give them Three Forks!!!Service: The service was decent, about average. Three Forks!!!Quality of Food: All I had was a Chimichanga, rice and beans, so not much to critique here. Everything was average to slightly better than average. The salsa was good, but the tomato flavor overwhelmed other ingredients. I’ll give them Three Forks!!!Value of Food: I think the cost was average, so I will give them Three Forks here as well!!!Final Score: THREE FORKS….Alright.
What a nice surprise to have found out here in the country! Looks like a hole in the wall type restaurant from the road. The food was incredible and the menu was creative. My husband has stuffed avacados filled with pulled seasoned chicken and tomatoes and cheese. Incredible!!! I had a salad with guac, fajita chicken, beans, ect. Awesome!!!!
Antonio’s. We eat here every other week, we love it ,the grilled chicken nacho’s are delicious and my husband likes the fish taco’s..it’s very good!!
Since I am known for trying somewhat obscure Mexican restaurants, visiting this one is a must !
