They were out of everything we wanted (the first wine, the first beer, the second beer, and the soup we asked for and the entree). My wife ordered a 26 dollar scallops pasta dish and when they brought out something entirely different we then find out they were out of the scallops. We were told they were going to comp her replacement meal and she just settled on soup and salad. In the end they only comped the salad and not the soup, the salad was not the salad she asked for and the place wasnt even busy. The macaroni was good, and thats the best I can say about the place.

We were with a large Birthday party group, seated outside. The servers were getting our drink orders before we took our seats. Ordered first appetizer, out of stock. Ordered our main course, out of stock. Note: when the servers had you a menu they should let you know at this time if some items are unavailable. Don’t wait 10 minutes until we are ready to order! The Pizza was fresh good tasting lacking on the toppings. Over all we would try it again in hopes of getting the food on the menu.

. My first visit there with 2 out of town guests for lunch today and I ordered an appetizer and their soup of the day. After taking our order the waitress came back to the table and said they didn’t have the appetizer I ordered could I pick something else. I selected a pizza and a cup of soup and waited 20 minutes for her to return to tell us the soup wouldn’t be ready in time. We explained that maybe they need to put their menu on a chalkboard so they could write what items they do have available and erase the items they don’t have. So we told her that we would go elsewhere to a restaurant that was prepared to sell food at 12:00. She got the manager who told us not to be hostile to the staff, we told him that we would be leaving, the manager said that if we left without paying for our teas there was going to be trouble. How rude! Maybe they should get to work early enough to have the soup of the day ready at lunch time. Keep in mind, 2 of my guests are veterans and retired state police officers, one the combat trainer, the only trouble they will have is keeping their doors open with such poor service.

The new chef Brendan. We had high high hopes after Firestones kitchen was being run by its GM and prep cook…as was told to us by our server the last time we went. It was the excuse for pizza being watery but surprisingly burnt to boot. Im not trying to be mean. We just thought this guy would make it better. Its right down the road from us. Perhaps these young cooks will quit watching food network and understand food needs to taste good. Not just have a fancy name. Keep trying guys. Its pizza. only competition is cardboard box delivery. You can do it!

The outdoor setting was promising however both the food and service were very disappointing. It took 3 attempts to get our order correct and upon arrival, the food was bland and could have come from a fast food restaurant. The service was not only slow, the staff was simply inattentive. I would not return.

Pizza is good and satisfies the need for wood fired, but the service was pretty bad. It took over an hour to get Pizza. Pizza takes three minutes in a fire oven and the waitress didn’t seem to think it was bizarre that it would take so long. Mostly a young staff which is probably part of the problem. Parking is a bit tough too but its fun that it is downtown should you want to go to the cigar bar after.
