First time there. I ordered the $8.75 combothT came with shiyo ramen and my two choices of gyozo and fried rice. Husband ordered curry ramen. All the food was great and goos size portions for the price. The restaurant was clean and the service was so-so. The server would slam down our food or slosh water when giving refills. We’d go back though because the food is excellent for the price and they offer take out.

Perfect Lunch Spot. There are many places to get Japanese food around Aiea – but Daiichi is the first place I go for noodles. I think that is easy to miss them in their location in the Aiea strip mall. They are up the street from the Post Office or down two blocks from St Elizibeth’s, but worth your time to stop in.The miso noodle soup is par excellant. I come back here each and every time I am back on island because Daiichi set the high mark on the most delicious miso I have had anywhere. I am also a big fan of their cold shoba noodles – and think they are a great pair to a hot afternoon.Do try their gyoza! I think you will find it is the measure by which all others from that point must compare. You cna order the miso and gyoza combo and have one of the best set price meals around.
