Pretty decent. My meal was kinda messed up on my part because I ordered menudo soup. Didnt know it was cow stomach lining until after I had a few funny tasting bites and Googled it. It kinda ruined the rest of my steak based meal. I ordered a steak chimichanga but received a chicken one instead. The waiter fixed it immediately and gave me extra/sauce for free. He also gave my two kids ice cream for free. The alcoholic drinks were a bit weak to me but then again, most restaurants are. Food was decent according to the rest of my family.
My go to mexican place. I live in alpine and drive in just for this place. I pass no less than 6 other taco shops, having tried them all, I can hand a down say this is the best mexican food in El cajon. My wife enjoyed it so much she has stated it was one of the best dates we’ve been on (and we were just stopping in).
