Eliot iacobucci. Went to assagio last night and had a great experience. The pasta was cooked aldente and the steak I had was perfect and I finished it off with the traditional Italian dessert ricotta cannoli .This is the type of food us melbourneans love
Love this place!. We have visited the Ala Moana, Milliani, and Hawaii Kai locations and always have a great meal. Good value. Great food. Great service.
I LOVE the chicken alfredo–light not heavy alfredo sauce, noodles were cooked perfectly, and the best thing-had enough for seconds the next day. I’ll be dreaming about it long after i leave hawaii
PRICEY AND NOT WORTHY. Somebody had recomended Assaggio Mililani but because we live in town, we decide to go to this one in Ala Moana.We waited about 10-15 mins. we sat and few minutes later we got some bread, (not all that). We tried the Pasta Fagoli it was very tasty but you could see the oil on top. The appetizer was good it was the portabella and other saute veggies, the price was $14. Main dish was the Filet mignon and jumbo shrimp. For $33 not worthy at all. the meat was not much tasty. We got three jumbo shrimp which was ok. The spagetti that was served with it was super bland. The other dish was the meatballs and pasta $15. The meatballs was good but the marinada was not all that. In General I was not satisfied with my experience at Assagio. The atmosphere is nice!!
The best Italian in Hawaii without question. The shrimp and scallops I had were better than any on the mainland. A must eat at place while in Hawaii.
While I liked the food overall, I must agree on many of the points made by those who disliked it. Charging for pop refills is pass. The bread was not a fine italian bread. The waitress was a sales pusher. I ordered a veal entre and she said chicken before leaving the table with my order and I corrected her. She said ok. And my order arrives, looking very nice, but I cut into my veal and it is greasy and stringy, like chicken. It was chicken! So she takes the order back and it is replaced with a huge veal portion. There was tons of pasta too. So I liked it mostly because of the good recovery.
No better than olive garden. Bread was too soft and doughyveal and eggplant WAY too greasycheap egg noodles passed off as fettucini
