  3rd time’s a charm? I have yet to have a miss of the 2x’s i’ve dined here. Small, inconvenient, & you could easily pass by in the blink of an eye. I really enjoy this little gem that feels like I’m somewhere in Tokyo. The food is clean, fresh & attractive. I was amazingly impressed with the wait staff the 1st time I visited. Not do much the 2nd. Why the low rating? Prices are high, portions aren’t huge but I have yet to be disappointed. The panna cotta is amazing.

  It could have been better.. Went to dinner at Bernini Honolulu last night for a business meeting. Good thing someone else paid. It was kind of a cute place but horrible location and scary parking lot that fronts a crazy road way. Lets see, a Japanese chef that trained in Italy. Very unoriginal menu and very salty food. Service was mediocre. They tried, but failed in my book. Lots of Japanese bimbo tourist stereo types dinning there making way to much noice with their squeaky fake voices to enjoy the possible intimate setting. Basicaly don’t bother going unless someone else pays. The place was way to small for an open kitchen and wood oven. My eyes were watering all night and I was all stuffy by the end of the evening. Also park at the Sears end of Ala Moana and just walk over to avoid the road mess and tretous parking. On a positive note, I really enjoyed the Panna Cotta with White Wine Gurlee and Fruits.
