Nice place to spend my first night in hawaii. Arived late so not much was open. The chart house was nice and cosy and food was very cheap and serving size was huge. Staff friendly and helpfull. Nice view great first meal in hawaii
Good, but can be a gamble if you have a tight schedule. This restaurant was recommended to us by transplants to the islands to celebrate after a beach wedding. Large groups can be a challenge, even with a reservation. The main problem is customer turnover. Everyone is having such a good time, the previous party seems hesitant to leave their tables. In our case it ended well. The management provided about $50 of free apps and desserts for our party. I made a meal out of the ahi poke bowl. The quality of everyone else’s meals, including the prime rib and stuffed prawns was reported to be excellent. Just relax and focus on the aloha culture and have a good time. As a side note, they also have a roving photographer, in case you are having a romantic diner for two.
Poor value for price and unfriendly atmosphere. Very expensive and very mediocre food. ordered filet mignon got a cut off end of a strip steak that was overdone. restaurant wasn’t ready to open and staff was doing set up as people waited to be seated. bus boys were taking plates off of the table before we were done eating. no refills on sodas either. Our waiter was really sweet but he was the only good thing about the place.
Good but $$$$. Good atmosphere, and good service. but prices are on the high side.
My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Hawaii. On our last night we went to dinner at the Chart House. We made a reservation for a table on the Lanai and had a perfect evening. Great service, great drinks, great food and sunset and beautiful serenade.
Four star food and prices. Seafood entrees were spectacular. Homey two star decor. Wait staff were fast and attentive. The mixed drink (moj-tini) was uninspiring, so I switched to white wine (good).
Very disappointing. Not even a real Chart House. Prices were astronomical, ridiculously high for how average this joint actually is. My advice: go have a fun night in Waikiki. Don’t waste your money or your time
