Worst Ever. I think this place used to be good but I just took visitors there and had the most stunningly bad food ever. There was literally no color, no taste, nothing. Chips (they brought a small cupful) were almost burned, salsa was pale pink and flavorless, the tamale tasted rancid, beans were devoid of flavor, rice a flavorless lump, and taco nothing but dry meat and a tortilla. What happened? Please save your time and money and just go to Taco Bell, or better yet, eat Greek. El Burrito is coasting on its reputation and should be put out of its misery.

My friend from mexico told me this place is the best Mexican food in town. I like their salsa!

Disappointing. I had high hopes when the young lady gave our order to the elder female cook in Spanish. And in fairness (thanks to our toddler) we got our food to go and it cooled too much. We got a chicken mole enchilada plate, a chicken chimichanga plate and extra rice and beans for the kiddo and it was just under $30. The mole sauce was good but the chimichangas were soggy (it’s hard to imagine they were crispy even when hot) and both entrees were overwhelmed by the (non-) flavor of bland shredded chicken breast. Our almost 2 year old was happy with his rice and beans but I found the refried beans flavorless and actually salted them. The salsa was unexceptional. The food was not greasy and pretty authentic and had it been cheaper I would have been less critical. But for the price we’ve had much better Mexican meals on Oahu at El Mariachi and on the big island at Luquins.

Good food, but a little pricey for a hole in the wall. I had three enchiladas and chips and salsa and the bill was over $17.

Really good. Lamb Chimichangas with a cup of Horchata. Wooo….
