We had a great meal there. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and the food was delicious and delicate. I loved the high end but casual feel of sitting around the kitchen and speaking to the chefs about the food, wine and pottery. The fact that we got to try some extras from the previous menu, and other alcohol says something about how eager they were to make us happy.
What a scam….I’ve dined at several high end Japanese restaurants all over the world and this one by far is the worst. I don’t mind set menus if the food was actually going to be good using HIGH quality ingredients, but it lacked any taste. Boring. For 58$ per person, cash only, this seems like a shady place. The staff did not know the food ingredients for each item and kept messing them up. The bathrooms are scary and disgusting!!!! Don’t go here.
