Went here for the 3.99 breakfast special and it was absolutely awesome for the price! Cheap and delicious; I would say it was on par with Denny’s, but a fraction of the price.
03/29/2014.Lets see what the power of social media and word of mouth can do!I got hustled this morning. Once in a while, despite your best efforts and skills, someone will work you in such a way that they get one over on you and you feel violated. To be clear, it is not the restaurants fault, I have eaten here fairly often and find it a fair value. This morning a waitress I have never seen before; Black, skinny woman with an upper arm prominent tattoo took my order; Now, nobody who goes in to order the $3.99 breakfast special- does so to leave a really big tip, they go there to stretch their budget and get a fair deal. But this particular waitress, if you are not really really careful, will take liberties to read into anything you might do when collecting your change at the end of the transaction, to be a sign that you are giving the balance as a tip-even if you have been waiting there for the change for a good while. Buyer Beware..Now-My loss is her loss, and your gain. If I may make a suggestion: Undertip this particular waitress to make up for the hustling she is pretty good at. A breakfast crowd is an innapropriate crowd to work over. This is not the end of the story. As I walked past the cash register which is near the entry of the bathrooms, she was discussing tip tactics with another waitress.I will continue going here, but you might imagine, how it will go. The women who work the floor here are frequently overworked and so I do leave a good tip, but I do not want to have inappropriate violating-You would be wise to watch carefully what signal you send out prior to that change folder actually hitting your table.
Not good. Ordered the kahlua pork. 2 bites and I couldn’t finish.Someone dropped the salt shaker in it. I mean it was putrid. My wife’s salsa was made of ketchup and tobasco. The service was poor. Left hungry and $34 lighter. Buh bye.
Go sit at the bar. Had a really good burger (on special) with fresh lettuce, tomato, and onions, along with a side salad and 2 beers for under $21 at Waikiki. I saw bad reviews about slow service; I did not have that. Bartender was nice and helpful. Sure, she was busy, but it’s a sports bar folks, not your area hotel restaurant that caters to your every whim. There was good live music, pool tables, arcade games, and plenty of people having fun!Step off the street, go downstairs, and have some brews and kick back! Aloha!
Service was slow. Food was average, but fried pickles were excellent
Hamburger was tasty but service bad
Got to say it was good for the price you pay for breakfast I highly recommend it for breakfast couldn’t tell you about lunch or dinner but its good for the price
