Nice family style restaurant. The service is good. I had a steak and chips which were nice and the pancakes and waffles here are really good. They have a salad bar and it’s very average with not much selection
Had the Tropical Bowl which consisted of a hashbrown with scrambled eggs drizzled with coconut syrup with a fried banana and fried pineapple two link of sausage and crumbled bacon. I didn’t take a photo it would’ve gotten lost in translation. It was edible but I did not finish it. This is definitely a comfort food type of restaurant.
Had Hawaiian breakfast with the fried banana. Always looking for good eggs and these were great. Solid without being rubber or greasy. Waitress was super friendly and kept coffee cup topped off.
Not a bad place to get breakfast but there is a lineup sometimes out the door. They have all day breakfast and all u can eat pancakes.I had the hawaiian breakfast which was eggs, corn beef hashed with roasted banana on top. It was good but the coffee at that place is terrible. I would go back again.
This is an establishment worth visiting. Good value kids brekky and delicious American and Hawaiian cuisine. Had the waffles, and it’s delicious
Pros: good portions which are well priced, service is efficient and diner experience is genuine. Has a very old school American feel to it 🙂 Its 24 hours too and at a super handy location too!! The cheesecake I thought was quite good – very creamy. Cons: My broiled chicken was well cooked but batter lacked flavour. The patty melt bad so much cheese it soaked through the bread and made it soggy. The cheesecake didn’t have its cookie base which I didn’t really like either. Nothing to break the creaminess of the cake. Decor is out dated and could do with some love.
Caveat: I just had coffee and half a papaya. In this day and age there is no excuse for coffee this bad – served with non-dairy creamer. If good coffee is important to your breakfast… pass.
