Had a late Sunday evening dinner at Thai Lao. We were quickly seated and our server offered many suggestions and explained the varying dishes well (compare and contrast Thai and Lao cuisines). We settled for he cashew chicken and the Nam Tok salad. The chicken dish was very good and the Nam Tok very similar to a Yum Nuer Thai salad but without the spice. I typically enjoy the spice but decided to try the Lao version and was happily surprised, though I’d try the Thai spicy next time. Great mean for two $33. Will easily return.
A must try is the beef salad Num Tok! And their Pad See Ew. You can always tell them ur spicy level which I always do mild. 😉 They are the only Thai Restaurant so far here in Kapolei.
