Great Italian Food. My grandparents live in Kailua and love this place. We come back every time we visit. As someone who has been to Italy, I can safely say the food here is super delicious. The back patio is lovely. Pretty small place, but lots of character.
I have heard great things about this place. Great atmosphere. Food was decent but service was spotty. Waiter was inattentive and gave a half hearted explanation as to why. I expected a better experience after all the hype. We’ll try again. Hoping for a better result.
Great food and great service! Worth the wait and it’s in an amazing spot with an amazing atmosphere. The Caeser Salad is more than your average Caeser salad and the pasta is all homemade and delish! The pork chop and daily soup is also amazing! We will be back!
Not very good food. I recommend you stay home and cook your own Italian dish with jarred pasta sauce it will come out better Service okay. Noisy in dining room.
Above average. We went to Baci for the first time tonight. There were some really positive points, like super friendly service, a nice ambiance outside, big glasses of wine, and they let us have our dog on the patio. Downsides were that they were stingy with the not-warmed bread (although we kept asking and they kept bringing more), the bruschetta and mussels were nothing special, the gnocchi w/ gorgonzola was pretty bad…but my husband’s entree, the butternut ravioli, was pretty good. We will give them a try again. I would rate tonight as being average on some aspects and above-average on others. Still, not what I was expecting based on recommendations (big, juicy tomato sauces with lots of pasta).Update: Have returned once. Accommodating staff. Good food and wine. For this side of the island, it’s probably the best Italian.
Excellent food and service. The Creme Brle is to die for! The specials were fabulous but expensive – my Opa was $28. However, we are new here and maybe that is normal. We will definitely return!
Perfect! We ordered the shrimp scampi-amazing sauce!! And shared the lobster ravioli for the entree.. Even better! Portions are small, so if you’re a big eater, order your own meal. Had the tiramisu and cheesecake for dessert-also great! Our server was Eric who was very good! Knew exactly when to check on us but didn’t bother us at all which made for a very romantic dinner! Will definitely be back 🙂
