Perfect!. The food is nice for the price. Seafood is fresh and cooked properly. The wine selection is decent and modestly priced. The wait staff is absolutely wonderful! perfect level of attention. Another waitress that wasn’t even our server saw me drop food on my shirt from across the room and brought a Tide pen! Atmosphere is wonderful. Perfect blend of cozy and fancy. Bottom line: you get what you pay for and a little more.
I had the Eggplant Sorentino. It was just okay. Appreciated the way the pasta was cooked. But they only make one pasta. The mushrooms in the sauce were canned, not fresh. And the servingof Eggplant was fairly small. I’ve enjoyed a better tasting Eggplant (Parmesan) @ Auntie Pasto’s.
Solid service and food. We were glad we’d made a rez per the crowd waiting on the sidewalk. Escargot was superb. Picky eaters in our party devoured their lasagna. The Italian Chardonnay was awful and was removed from bill without asking (may have been a bad bottle). Tiramisu easily held it’s own with outstanding ones we had on recent trip to Italy. All in all, a most pleasant evening
Good food, good wine, reasonable prices, small place, good friendly service. My favorite.
Not the best. I ordered the eggplant parmagiana, which was good but was topped with a slice of sandwich cheese and sitting on top of some very plain, overcooked pasta. They are pretty proud of their chianti ($18 a bottle). On the upside, the atmosphere is charming and the staff is friendly.
Good food, good service but overpriced. A linguine dish costs $15 and is not filling. Horrible wine selection. I’d prob go again just for the atmosphere.
