Always a good meal!. We’ve been going to Los Garcia’s for over 12 years…and always leave pleased with the food and service. This is a family run business…always has been. I’ve lived in San Diego and have experienced true Mexican food. While Los Garcia’s is not quite to that level…it is a good Mexican meal…in Hawaii…in Kailua.
The best margaritas we’ve had in Oahu.
Fajitas needed more meat!!! Waitress seemed bothered to be here. Atmosphere was good and kids enjoyed the tacos. Definitely over priced for what you get. Carnitas were dry and old!04 Feb, 2012Food’s okay… Nothing to write home about. But the margaritas as great! It is an okay place for some Americanized Mexican food
Pretty bad mexican food. If you like plain chicken (not marinated in any spices while cooking), a dollop of sour cream for $3, marginal service, frozen shrimp cooked with melted cheese (passed off as something different), then you will like this place. If you like authentic mexican, with spices and cheese flavors that pop, then you will not like this place. Some of the poorer Mexican food we’ve had.
Great service and the food was delish… We would definitely go back. good margaritas
Wow, what a rip off! Steak fajitas for $18 and you get cheesesteak meat, but only enough for half a sandwich. Flavor was good, but where’s the steak!?
It’s way over priced! Yeah the place reminds me of back home but not enough to have to pay that much. They don’t even have horchata! 🙁 I miss Texas. I’ll stick to the Mexican restaurants in Aeia.
