So Tex is a great place to get a quick bite off the highway. They are known for their malasadas, a Portuguese pastry made fresh to order. Plain or filled with baverian cream, either way delicious. Definitely worth a try. They also have local hawaian foods and standard american cuisine on the menu. Lines can be long but service is quick.
I would travel 12000 km just for the malasadas here! Opening the box and discovering these beauties was one of the highlights of a recent trip. We had raspberry and Bavarian creme fillings…..yummo! Better reheated for breakfast I think
