Downtown New York landed @ Downtown Honolulu. Their Panini is AMAZING! I LOVE Grilled Chicken! Pasta is huge and fresh. I LOVE lasagna. My favorite salad is Marco & Francesco – Fresh fruits and mixed green. I also love their oriental dressing. They sell VERY good Gelato – Much better than Ciao Bella ( It’s NY based huge gelato company). I wish they are around my office…. too bad, they opened in Honolulu. One of the owner Marco lived and studies Art and Design in Rome, and lived New York for long time. His partner and co-owner Jim studied at Cordon Blue at Paris for years and worked as chef for many years. So their food are quite authentic. Not greasy and very fresh. Also, their display is one of the kind. They are planning to add more new stuff, so just keep coming back.
Unique in Honolulu. We went for lunch one day and were surprised by the impeccable service and delectable food. The Greek salad was crisp, topped by a light, tasteful dressing. We sampled the salmon burger which was fresh and juicy. Similarly, the Pocho Dog was the best hot dog I’ve had. Beat’s the one at the Shake Shack in New York City. As we could not stop eating, we dove into the grilled eggplant panini which was yummy and not greasy. Perhaps the best part was dining on red checkered tablecloths al fresco in the shade on the trees in downtown Honolulu. What a pleasure!Nanette
