Came here for dinner tonight and we were not disappointed. The view facing the street was amazing and we were able to watch the sunset. The passionfruit smoothie was sweet and tart, very refreshing. I ordered the Cobb salad and it came with a generous amount of chicken and it was cooked perfectly and there was a nice mixture of different ingredients- red onion, cheese, bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, boiled egg and I opted out the ham. It came with a nice light vingarette. I would totally come back and order the salad again. We came on a Tuesday night and there was a live band called Mele’uhane – a father and son duo. They were fantastic and played beautiful music. The end to a perfect night with the hubby.
Brilliant overlooked the ocean – a few corona – fish and chips in coconut crust was the bomb. If you want great food and service at a great price this is it folks…
We literally ate breakfast here EVERY day we spent in Kona. Food was great, service even better. Homemade cinnamon rolls are excellent (only sorry we tried them on the next to last day)! Great place – definitely recommend!
Loco Moco Breakfast. Best breakfast value on the island!
Great with kids. Went here for dinner after hearing great review from a local on the beach. Sat at the sidewalk counters with the kids who had a great time, especially with Elliot who made them a bunch of banana leaf crafts to take home! Service was a little slow but it was really busy. Food was good and nicely portioned. Kids had fish and chips and spaghetti, both cleaned off their plates. Fajitas were tasty, but had to ask for more tortillas. Strawberry salad was huge but a good amount of toppings. Great atmosphere!
Seafood Platter. Coconut shrimp, fish, ceviche, peel and eat shrimp and calamari steak-plenty for dinner for two.
The barker said it was good. We were drawn in because the barker standing at the entrance swore we’d have a great meal. We came back for breakfast and had a ten minute wait, they were pretty busy. Our waitress was friendly, a little scattered because they were busy. Saw one waitress almost taken out a couple times because of trip hazards and people runnin around like chickens with the heads cut off. My Eggs Benedict was ok, not much flavor to the hollandaise, the waitress did get my taters right, crispy, brown, well done, just like I like them. The Irish Coffee was pretty good, not very strong though. What absolutely killed it was two out of the three silverware sets we got were filthy, not just a little schmutz but filthy. We got replacement sets, you could see the waitress searching for clean silverware, took a few secs to get a clean set, we saw her polishing the sets we got, they probably were not even clean. Not until I pointed out the disgusting silverware to the manager was the whole lot sent back to the pearl divers. The excuse was they were busy. Personally I would rather wait than get someone’s old food served to me, I’m kinda picky that way.If they can’t even get you clean silverware what does it look like behind closed doors? Standards can’t be that high. Return? Nah.
