Large variety of inexpensive, good sushi. The sushi here is of very decent quality, and the prices are definitely a bargain. This is a kaiten-zushi place, meaning that the sushi is prepared and placed on a conveyor belt next to your table, so you can just grab whatever strikes your fancy as it passes by (you can also order specific items as well). It is fun for the kids, the variety is fantastic, and there are lots of cooked sushi and other food options for those who are not really into raw fish. Lots of fun.

I thought Genki Sushi wasn’t the greatest sushi I had ever had, but the experience was nostalgic and gives others a glimpse into the world of rotating sushi bars. Try it out if visiting Kona or the other locations on the islands….
Good, Affordable, Fast. Genki is great sushi. Overall it is reasonably priced. Lots of options. It’s best to order non-sushi items from the kitchen rather than taking them off the belt
Best sushi in Hawaii. I have tried different sushi in town and I love Genki because of the variety and price. Usually if it’s cheap, it’s not good, but this is quality sushi. I would recommend to anyone I know.
