We made reservations or the phone for a party of nine. The person on the phone was professional and very friendly. Upon our arrival we were greeted with open arms and the great experience had just begun. From the hostess to Chris our server to the obviously super well run business and of course the flawless food our experience couldn’t have been better. Excellent menu which delivered as described!!

Our first night on the Big Island and hadn’t eaten since breakfast so were looking for a ‘Hawaiian’ dinner. Small parking lot and good sized restaurant which was full. We sat at the bar for dinner which filled up as the evening went on and a number of customers waiting to get in. Staff at the bar were super friendly and made us feel at home. We enjoyed Da Best Mai Tai’s to start off with. Catch of the Day was Marlin which I had Farmer Style, Tammy had the ribs. The food was excellent and a gorgeous presentation. We finished with the Homemade Macadamia Nut Bar with vanilla ice cream. Wow, was it good. Here was the odd thing…..a cockroach about an inch and a half long popped up on the bar and scurried across and back again…. No one seemed to care! Maybe thats common in Hawaii ?!? Other than that the restaurant appeared very clean and I would not hesitate to recommend…..again, food was excellent! We’re planning on going back again for some of the on-tap beer and appetizers.

Limited parking and was quite busy on a friday, luckily we got in before the big rush. I got the angel hair pasta with clams instead of the linguine. It came out lukewarm, wish it could have come out hotter. There was a good portion of clams and sauce was nice. Also came with 3 pieces of toasted crostini to soak up the sauce.

We love this place. Always had a wonderful meal. The place is always busy but the wait time is minimal. The food is good, wine choices are excellent and the wait staff are on point. Try this place you will not regret it!

Not worth the price. The food looks good, but the taste is not there. Ribs were too tough and spicy. Rack O Lamb needed more seasoning. And many of the menu items are over priced.
