I went here because I had heard that their mud pies were the best and I stand firm with that statement. Although its hard to mess up a mud pie in the first place these guys make it so well. If youve never had a mud pie or you happen to be in Hawaii I would definitely recommend coming here. The restaurant overlooks the ocean, its beautifully lit at night, very romantic and the service is excellent.
The view is spectacular and the dining room has a real old Hawaii vibe and its easy to feel as though transported back to the 1930s or 1940s. Photographs on the wall show just how amazing this place must have been in its heyday. However, that made the mediocrity of the food that much more disappointing. Its worth a visit but maybe just for a couple of happy hour Mai Tai while soaking up the view.
