Unfortunate Detour. Ducked into this place when we couldn’t find our target Thai restaurant due to wonky online map. It was very disappointing. We hand to send a chicken dish back because part of chicken was not cooked through They were friendly but I recommend staying away.
This review is coming from an individual that has been to many Thai restaurants in the past. The food at this place is HORRIBLE! I ordered green curry which is for those that don’t know what this is (such as this place) is a soup. They served it like some kind of stir-fry sprinkled with some green curry soup. It was nothing even close like REAL Thai green curry. If you like awful nasty food, this is the place for you. For me, I’m never ever going back to this place and will let all my friends and family know about it.
I can’t believe all the other reviews.. This was the worst Thai food I have ever had. I had green curry with veggies, the sauce wasn’t even green, had hardly any flavors, little vegetables and filled the plate with mostly lettuce. Who puts lettuce in Thai food? I also tried the pad Thai which was the absolute worst. The fish & noodles were all deep fried.. Gross. Go to Royal Thai .. It in comparison is amazing and you can watch the staff actually mash fresh herbs for their sauces.
Serving size. The food is delicious! But sadly the portions get smaller and smaller every time we go, for the price of the rice the portion was really small. Also got the volcano chicken (mild though) and it was delicious! 🙂 I also love the sauce in the broccoli dish with the beef goes good with the rice. 🙂 But like I said the portions get smaller and smaller… I think I’ll be looking for a new place.
We stopped for lunch. They have a very good lunch special. The yellow curry was delicious. . The chow mien was good. Service was prompt. Would come back again.
Awesomeness. I agree with the other reviews. No clue how this restaurant could have gotten such a low percentage. This was the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Our table was a mix of Thai food lovers and not so much, but everyone agreed that the food was amazing. The service was also great!
Very affordable and delicious lunch. We have no idea how this place got such a low rating. The lunch specials are awesome! $6.95 each. The Spicy Mint Basil Noodles were my husband’s favorite dish on the whole island, and I thought the papaya salad was delicious. Our daughter loved the Thai BBQ chicken appetizer. Admittedly, the lunch specials with rice were a little small, but definitely not the noodle dish nor the appetizers.
