Smile on face!. Met a friend there around 11:30 & the place started to fill up for lunch. Basil wraps were huge and served with two tasty sauces. I ordered Volcano Duck and was glad I did. Crispy and glaze was just the right a mount of sweet. My friend ordered the Drunken Noodle medium spicy which turned out to be a little too spicy for our tame palates but the noodles satisfied our need for a starch. Will return soon (since I live here) & want to try the seafood. Soup served in a hot pot. Love soup! Found another good restaurant.
Volcanic Duck !!. ABSOLUTELY delicious! Somehow chef gets it crispy, but the duck is not a fatty or oily as most duck dishes! Krua is the BEST if you treasure FRESH ingredients. I am a local and Krua is always my first choice.
We went on a sunday night and were the only ones there which made us a little nervous but our fears were settled when we got our pot stickers… They were delicious. My wife had the drunken noodles which were good but the pad tai was better. The setting is not ocean front but the food was far superior to the ones on the water. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. We talked to a husband and wife team (cook and waitress) who were very pleasant. If you want scenery this is not the place but if the food matters this is worth the stop.

Thai food that exceeds your expectations. Atmosphere is upscale and relaxing. service is friendly, pleasantly interactive. menu is nice and variety with Thai dishes. the food here is excellent quality. its definitely worth it !!!
Volcanic Duck !!. OMG !!! it was so goood !!! this dish is deep fried DEBONED duck with tamarind homemade sauce on top. i guarantee if u have it u will love it. i went back there and actually had the duck for like three times already. the service is sweet and full of Thai style. i give it a TEN for thai restaurant in Kona.
Fresh tasting food. This is a great place to get really good Thai food. The prices are very reasonable, fresh tasting and good service. Would definitely visit again the next time we visit the Big Island.
