Some of the best food ever. I live in Kona. I’ve lived all over the world, and so have eaten just about every kind of food you can imagine in five star restaurants and off floating food barges in places where people probably shouldn’t eat. I went to Montre on a blind date, not knowing what to expect, and was more than pleasantly surprised to discover this utter gem hidden away as it is. I ate some of the best food of my life that night, served by charming staff. Their amazingly large selection of obscure Japanese beers and sakes made for a fun distraction. I can’t wait to go again, but with a different date.
