Fantastic service, delicious food and very reasonably priced. Plenty of vegetarian options. The Salt & Pepper Tofu was amazing, would highly recommend. Definitely worth the walk from the main Kona strip.
Dungeness crab!!! Yummy!!!. My boyfriend would tell me stories about how his boss would take the employees for their annual Xmas party and eat just the crab. The way he described the crab, I was a bit jealous. Till he finally took me to the restaurant. I became an instant fan. I’m not sure which preparation I love better. The black bean sauce or salt and black pepper? One week, we went and ate here three times. In fact, I think they ran out of the live crab. We try to make birthday or special occasion dinners here. I’m almost embarrassed that the local family who owns this place knows us by first name and don’t even hand us menus anymore.

I phoned in an order for one whole roast duck and I was quoted a price of $12. After I brought home my purchase I suspected that the order was not for a whole duck so I called the restaurant. Restaurant said the price quoted me was for a half-duck which was not what was quoted me on the phone when I placed my order. I’m a regular dine-in customer here, too, but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.
